The Sunniest Day

21. August 2019

Hey everyone – Hope you´re all happy!

First of all, I wanted to say thank you for the amazing feedback on my last fashion post – The response has been super positive and it makes me incredibly happy that so many of you share this passion of mine!

In honour of that, I thought I would share another one of my favourite summer dresses and have a little chat with you!

A little throwback to when I found this dress…

As some of you might know, I spent the last 5 months living in beautiful Copenhagen for my exchange semester. Now, in my opinion, Copenhagen is probably the most fashionable city I have ever been to! The people living up north are just so effortlessly cool and stylish at the same time, it inspired me immediately – And so did the shopping scene!
It was actually my last day in Denmark when me and my Copenhagen Bestie Alessa decided to go for a stroll through some shops and spend our leftover crowns on something special. So while having a look around in Samsoe Samsoe, I immediately gravitated towards this beautiful white summer dress. It is the white dress of my dreams so I had no other choice than to say ´Yes to the Dress´Don´t you worry, I´m not getting married!

Soaking up that sun

What I love most about this dress is its flowiness, as well as the attention to detail. It has a lot of small features to it, such as the little button detail on the sleeve or even the choice of material, that makes wearing it even more beautiful.

Sunshine & Happiness

The day of shooting this dress, was one of the sunniest and also happiest days I have experienced this summer! I found myself in the middle of a sunflower field in Dresden, wearing one of my favourite outfits and accompanied by one of my favourite people. Standing in that field, surrounded by thousands of sunflowers, I realized, that it really is the little moments in life that make you the happiest and my trusty photographer captured that exact moment…

Some outfit specifics

Let´s talk all about styling this beautiful Devier Studios wrap-dress. As you can see on the pictures, it has a rather plunging neckline which you can perfectly style with a gold necklace or even a layered necklace. Moreover, I would highly (!) advise you to wear a nice ´lacey´ body or bra underneath this dress, as you might show a little more chest than usual. Talking about shoes, again, this completely comes down to what sort of occasion you are dressing for. I personally love styling dresses with sneakers – preferably the Axel Arigato Clean 90 sneakers that I already showed you last week!
Here is a quick overview of all outfit specifics…

Other accessories that would fit very nicely with this sort of dress.

So this another fashion post done! Hope you enjoyed reading and as always – I would love to hear your thoughts! Lastly, I want to thank my best friend Laura for being my trusty photographer along my journey and always putting a smile on my face.

Lots of love,

Anna
